The Galactic Butterfly aka Hunab Ku

"The Galactic Butterfly is said to represent all of the consciousness that has ever existed in this galaxy. "Butterflies are important in mythology from all over the world: Greek mythology connects butterflies to the soul. In ancient Greek the word for butterfly is "Psyche", which translated means "soul", and also considered butterflies as reincarnations of souls. This was also the name for Eros' human lover and when the two figures are depicted they are often surrounded by butterflies. The Egyptian Butterfly is connected to Osiris’s resurrection.
